The full story The problem, how we approached it, and what we built
A new dental clinic needed to take bookings, answer questions, and handle voice notes on WhatsApp, in Puerto Rican Spanish, ready before it opens.
02 The problem
A clinic opening in Puerto Rico had no booking or messaging automation, and a market that lives on WhatsApp and voice notes.
Patients expect to message naturally, in Spanish and Spanglish, and get a real answer back.
03 The approach
We built the concierge to take bookings, answer questions and handle voice notes in Puerto Rican Spanish, on the clinic's own WhatsApp number, with the clinic's three doctors and its insurance list built in.
Booking and cancelling were proven end to end before opening, including a fix for a date bug that would have put any booking more than a week out on the wrong day. It now books up to 90 days ahead.
04 What we built
- WhatsApp concierge on the clinic's own number, in Spanish and Spanglish
- Voice-note handling, so patients message the way they already do
- Booking and cancelling with the three doctors' calendars, up to 90 days ahead
- Insurance list enforced, and a cost conversation that hands to the clinic for terms
